The general answer is not necessarily. Many patients may have a bad prognosis and their health improves and then their hospice care services are suspended. Patients who are actively dying are eligible for hospice care. Hospice Eligibility Criteria
Hospice eligibility criteria states that individuals are eligible for hospice if they have been diagnosed with a life-limiting condition with a prognosis of six moths or less, if they have had frequent hospitalizations in the past six months, they have had a change in cognitive and functional abilities, they have compromised activities of daily living such as eating, bathing, dressing and more, they have deteriorating mental abilities, recurrent infections, or specific decline. I would like to add something to the post that people should know that anyone who is involved in some serious disease should be admitted because a normal fever can be cured at home if you want a complete cure for some serious disease then you must contact the new vision hospice as they are offering their services to the people who are very ill.
